BACKGROUND OF JAISWAL GROUP

S. P. Jaiswal Estates Private Limited was incorporated on 5th October 1964 under the Companies Act 1956. Mr. S. P. Jaiswal was the promoter of the company and his son Mr. R. K. Jaiswal managed the day to day affair. After his death Mr. D. K. Jaiswal son of Mr. S. P. Jaiswal took over the control of the business and presently he is Chairman and Managing Director of the HHI Group.
Initially, the company had one 5 star hotel in Kolkata, then in the year 1988 the second hotel came up in Varanasi. He is now managing both the hotels. The hotel is being run very profitably and has also won the best Five Star Hotel Award in 1996, 1997 and 1998 from the Dept. of Tourism, Govt of India. Mr. Vikram Jaiswal and Mr. Vinay Jaiswal are the other Directors in the Company.

The company has maintained steady profitability in every year and has enriched its reserves and surplus fund. Presently it is expanding and revamping in a big way in order to cope up with the present market growth and competition.
